“I thought the 31st Jan lunch meeting was excellent. The speakers were first rate and the topic of ageing was discussed and debated with insight and clarity from an number of angles. It would be good if there was some follow up perhaps on the theme of the importance of an ageless society. A lot of elderly people want to contribute to societal needs and can offer voluntary help to hospitals and care homes and community projects. Also they are often good mentors. However,as was discussed, there is the feeling that older people are excluded from society.”
