Men's Health Symposium
Men's Health Symposium
2020health in partnership with Men's Health Forum sponsored a symposium focusing on men's health and the use of technologies.
Men’s health has received less attention in this country than women’s health. The inequality debate has largely focused on women, but a number of initiatives from the Department of Health have been put in place to try to redress these inequalities, including the introduction into National policy of the Gender Equality Duty and addressing the findings of the study into ‘Gender and Access to Health Services’. To date, these have not yet had the impact that has been hoped for.
The Men’s Health Forum have undertaken a huge amount of work in the UK to highlight not only the inequalities but the attitudes towards men’s health by men themselves, improve information and encourage men and boys to think about their health and well-being.

- Professor Lord Patel of Bradford OBE
