Health systems across the European Union are increasingly interconnected. This is due to improved technology, changes in legislation and shared clinical trials and research.
- Does an EU-wide approach to health policy allow for more easily coordinated efforts to tackle issues such as alcohol and tobacco, control of illegal drugs and promoting good sexual health?
- Or is this an example of central body, which is removed from UK attitudes towards health, imposing policies and behavioral change from afar?
