Oct 22. till Oct 22.

Speaker: Julia Manning, CEO, 2020health

Delegates at this seminar will consider the future for the life sciences sector in the UK, and what more can be done to tackle barriers to investment, innovation and growth.

The conference is timed to discuss next steps for implementing the Accelerated Access Review - due to report in the summer - which will look at policy and regulatory priorities for speeding up the development and adoption of innovative medicines and medical technology.

Sessions will also assess policy strategy for the sector, including funding initiatives for SME and academic-led projects with commercial potential, such as the Biomedical Catalyst Funding and the recently launched Health North programme, aimed at developing regional healthcare innovations.

The seminar will bring together key policymakers, regulators and representatives from pharmaceuticals, bio and medical technology industries, as well as universities, NHS partnerships, investors and commentators.
