Research
Nursing and nurses have been the subject of much criticism lately, with the CQC identifying hospitals where respect, dignity and basic care have been woefully and dangerously neglected. The Francis Report is thought to contain observations that may leave nurses bewildered and the public anxious. The recent statement by the Chief Nurse and the introduction of the '6 Cs' is applauded and timely. We are left with the question, are we just seeing the tip of the iceberg?
