Jon Paxman

Jon joined 20/20health in 2011. Much of his research explores ways of improving access, equity and outcomes within primary care. Reports have covered subjects as diverse as Personal Health Budgets, the UK’s childhood immunisation programme, depression and mental health equity, obesity, CFS/ME and whole-school wellbeing. He has also contributed to several Health IT reports, including 20/20health’s independent evaluation of the ‘Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Telehealth Hub’, and was lead author and researcher on the Foresight Project Report, considering the future impact of technology on health, business, education and regulation in the optical sector.

Jon recently completed two years as honorary research associate at UCL and authored the critically acclaimed chronology Classical Music 1600-2000.
