Jon Paxman

Jon joined 20/20health in 2011 as a researcher with interests in digital health and innovative strategies to improve access, equity and outcomes across primary and community care. His work has addressed diverse topics, including Personal Health Budgets, the UK’s childhood immunisation programme, depression and mental health parity of esteem, telehealth, obesity, CFS/ME, fear-based healthcare avoidance and improving health outcomes for children with SEN.

Within 20/20health’s digital health workstream, Jon’s activities include research team leading on the Foresight Project – examining possible future impacts of technology on the optical sector – and Smart Future of Healthcare, exploring the potential of smart meters in remote care and ambient assisted living.
